Building the sport of efoil racing is about so much more than laps and podiums — it’s a movement sparked by personal passion and amplified by the right crew of foil-obsessed
people with backgrounds in various industries and skillsets who live for speed and innovation. From tinkering with board geometry and battery tech to crafting race formats with track designer tools and simulators to the eFoil Racing App (now with an Apple Watch app too btw..) facilitating globally connected racing with standardized tracks and a universal leaderboard.
Chiming in on safety standards in the community chatrooms, being active in the efoil racing committee, every facet grows from a shared love of flying above the water. Connecting the global community around a goal-oriented sport transforms casual riders into teammates, rivals, and lifelong friends; you can feel that gratitude radiate at events when strangers become family, swapping tips, debating lines, and sometimes locking horns in fierce, respectful competition. Those push-and-pull moments - chasing the win, refining technique, shaving tenths off lap times - drive everyone to new levels of performance and precision, and that collective momentum is how a sport is built and kept alive.
…A SPORT …
As a sport, racing eFoils is a uniquely delicate and precise board sport, don’t let the silent ride fool you, as speeds approach 60+ km/h water becomes an element of dire consequences if you crash bad.
Safety is always a priority to us and we stress this aspect of our sport at events constantly.
Nobody wants to push the limits beyond what’s reasonably controllable for the sake of a “good show” and while the stakes are high and championships get decided by mere milliseconds, said limits are bound to get blasted and obliterated time and time again where adrenaline and motivation come together in a spectacular way!
At the highest level of performance aspects of the ride reveal themselves that would otherwise remain undiscovered, this feeds directly into product design and the benefits trickle down as reliability, durability and a refined ride to the average rider too, just like it does on other motorsports like the Formula 1.

Without fail, the one thing that constantly comes across as the best part of this sport is the community. Connecting with people, making friends and diving into conversations
getting to know each other through a shared passion is quite different from the regular kind of “networking”.
Everyone has a story to tell about how they found their way into eFoiling and hearing about ones favorite locations, ride routines, insights into running the business, ideas around race formats, making plans for trips together to explore the most amazing locations on earth.. well, let’s just say
it’s an incredible joy to build a worldwide family around the sport that we love
sharing what we’ve discovered, elevating all of our lives to a whole new level where
